Greetings from Stately
Bangle Manor!!
Hello there. We’ve been
having a splendid time so far in our humble abode! We’ve
rented a house here in LA (actually an old house from the
50’s) and have converted it to a studio. It’s been going
really well. I’ve just about finished all of my drum tracks
and Michael is starting on bass now. So far it’s really been a
positive experience. We’re having the good fortune of working
with Brad Wood who is not only a wonderful producer/engineer,
but he is also a drummer, so that’s been very helpful for me
as far as sounds and ideas. (Plus, he has loaned me some great
snare drums for the recording!) It’s really a wonderful
atmosphere here. There’s such a good vibe, and I think that
will spill over onto this record. |

There’s
still a lot more to do, but we’re all excited about how it
will turn out. I’ll be updating more studio info as we move
along. |

Also, I just wanted to say a quick
goodbye to George Harrison. He meant so much to all of us and
was such a musical and spiritual inspiration. He will be
dearly missed. George must be in a better place, no longer
suffering and in pain. I was glad to hear that Paul and Ringo
visited him before he went. I still can’t believe that we’ve
lost TWO Beatles now. I guess once again we are reminded of
our own mortality… George, I will miss your beautiful songs,
your humour and your wonderful spirit. I loved you, George. We
all did... |
|
Well,
that’s it from Debbi’s page for now! I’ll write again real
soon. Take it easy and keep on Bangle-ing on!!!
Love, Debbi.
